progressive dude. i think, in a nutshell - if a kid is good enough, if the NBA wants to pay them, they should be able to get paid. similar to baseball, and the best example i think is tennis where teenagers have been wildly successful.

that's not my argument, mind you, as i hate the idea of letting HS kids come to the NBA (because i love college basketball), but i think that's the gist of the argument in general.
