Soon as possible. If you're a junior in college, you're old. It's an industry with cocky people who believe they can get raw talent and develop it. They'd rather jump on it than take the safe pick and let someone else develop the star.

Maybe after a while they'll realize they need to see more of some kids until they're older. Some obvious picks will always be obvious. But others will need some sort of other experience to show they've got it.
