I may potentially be in this situation in a few days. If company A gives me an offer (all signs point to them extending one), I'll have a week to decide. Meanwhile, I'm interviewing at company B so as to keep my options open. Is it a bad idea to tell company B in the interview that I have another offer? My hope is that my transparency will be met with some transparency from company B, and perhaps even expedite the process.
