Just told them I had two interviews that day and I got a good offer on the spot for company A. Company B didn’t want to give me an offer right away and instead tried to play games. I ended up taking Company A’s offer.

Funny thing is a few months later I got a call from Company B. Making me a bigger offer and asking if I would reconsider. I told them I was happy with where I was at.

I then brought it up to my boss, and a week later he offered me a raise out of the blue.

It pays to have the perception that you are wanted elsewhere.
