If you go with the actual dictionary definition of porn
It is material “intended to stimulate erotic rather than aesthetic or emotional feelings.”
Do people turn on GOT every week to stimulate erotic feelings? Maybe you could have made that argument 30 years ago when topless scenes in movies were all the access many people could get. But nowadays where pornography can be accessed in literally seconds, no one is saying, “oh man, I’m going to turn on this show with battles and dragons that is 99.8% talking and fighting so I can be titillated for 14 seconds.”
GOT stimulates emotional feelings as per the definition above. This fact is supported in this last season because when ratings are highest and they have the most interest they’ve shown the least nudity. In fact Bill Simmons and other have complained because there has been almost nothing sexual this entire season. If nudity and sex were the real reason people were watching then they would never remove it during the last season. People are watching for emotional reasons; they can be stimulated elsewhere.
