This argument is poor and remarkably similar to others in politics.
On the right. “Why do you care so much about birth control and abortion? Do you really love aborting babies that much!”
On the left, “why do republicans care so much about controlling women’s bodies?”
So I guess in response to why I care so much about watching GOT I would turn it around and say to you, “why do you care so much about condemning what other people watch for entertainment?”
