4 events is the limit in any meet. You have to pick and choose what you are going to do. At her league championship, my daughter ran the 200, 400, 800 and 1600. You maximize your points.

Strategy. The fastest kid in Utah 6A didn't run in the 4x100 relay. They won the race without him.
