His dad coached one of the Lehi youth football teams as these kids were growing up and he played on my sons comp basketball team one year. They held the kid back a year in school and took him from Skyridge over to LP. He is a nice kid and his dad I consider a friend although not close one. Definitely a tough deal but LP really didn’t have much pitching, they overachieved just to be there, really overachieved, so I think most of them get that and it won’t be to hard on him as far as other people.

Still I’m sure he’ll be hard on himself.
