equal to that of a mortgage just in rent alone, without hardly any sq feet. I think they would be just fine being able to own a much smaller, newer, home, without any of the bells and whistles. I personally don't think there is an expectation for young people to get into huge homes with all sorts of amenities, but that's what developers are building. It think they are simply priced out of many markets. Gonna have to live in Memphis or OKC to get a starter home.
