These are the same people who freaked out when the church was going to build a taller new MTC building. The church ended up caving to their demands and as result renting out an apt building to temporarily house the missionaries (likely cost a lot more money). I grew up in the area just north of the stadium (though not in this exact neighborhood). I too don’t understand how these people get to dictate what the church and the university does. They should have done their due diligence before buying their homes next to a university.
