yes. People buying from an individual are looking for a deal. Otherwise they'd
go to a dealership. Sellers are trying to get more than they could with a trade in. There is usually a good middle ground here for both seller and buyer to be happy. I wish more people did this and didn't trade in their car, used car dealers pillage.
