No way, man. It's called suicide for a reason. My buddy was benching with suicide grip and he had spotters, but they

were relaxed because he was easily repping out his set at 275. Then it slipped out right at the top and broke his ribs before the spotters caught it. If it had landed a little higher or the spotters had been slower, it could have easily crushed his neck.
