That said, McCann May have just been standing up for his teammates (rather than personally taking offense), so I’ll give him a pass.
The point is that admiring a HR bomb for a few seconds isn’t anything that even needs policing. Plenty of NBA players admire their 3s, they don’t face physical retaliation, and life moves on just fine. But MLB players are so sensitive that we need beanballs? Babies.
