The current product hasn’t been worthy of extension or worthy of worry
that we wouldn’t be able to replicate the results we are getting. Based on where the program has been for over 45 years, the last 2 years have been the worst — let’s talk extensions when/if the result warrant that.
20-19 so far is a failure by Kalani’s own stated goals.
Protecting Lavells house hasn’t been worse in decades (haven’t beat a top 100 team in two years)
Beating rivals is worse (1-9 back to back to Utah state)
Two weeks in the top 25 in 3 seasons is terrible and it was fools gold as we finished 63.
2/3 years bowls and just barely limped to one last year.
NY6 feels more like an impossibility while we just hope to sniff a bowl
You can’t look at the results with any objectivity and say we are in a good place right now—they simply need to get much better.
