The pick six didn’t help but they still kept throwing the ball after the pick which lead to a TD. What hurt was when Utah stopped playing man and started going cover 3. That’s when the passing game went down, Utah’s line started to really crash down on our OLine, then Hadley went down. Another thing was Utah’s Dline being able to take Zach down in the 2nd half compared to the first. Zach was really slippery the first half, he was able to escape really well, the second half was a different story. Utah’s run game kicked up a notch in the 2nd half as well compared to the first. The majority of our starters could start on some P5 programs...our backups, that’s a different story. Depth showed. When it’s the 4th quarter and your starters need to be cycled out for a play to rest, that hurts us. That’s what lost us the game. Depth showed, and that’s what we’ve been lacking.
