Once it’s healed it can be as good as new.
Which can mean it’s no more at risk than if there has been no injury previously.
Not always the case, but it’s possible. It seems like he’s taken the proper care to avoid throwing too early. That can help avoid excessive scar tissue growth and get him back to 100% more quickly.
He’s at risk because he’s playing quarterback and he’s a great running QB. My guess is he’s at risk for any fluke injury the way any QB/RB/WR is.
But yeah the OL had better reduce those sacks this year!
