Meh. The entire state is going through a housing crisis and San Clemente should
not be immune. It’s not some living museum to old California.
Everyone in this state is grappling with the same issue. You don’t think that multi generational families in SF County, LA County or SD county don’t all have the same issues? I’d love to go back to the California my grand parents inherited from there parents, but that’s not possible when you add 35 million people to a state where everyone wants to live within 30 miles of the coast
San Clemente is not so special that it deserves any different treatment than any other city in this great state. Sorry dude if I feel no remorse for San Clementians that can’t attend San Clemente HS. Give me a freakin break!
And those beaches belong to the people of California, not the residents of San Clemente.
