AAC just lost one of their best schools.

HawkeyeCoug Walk-on

UConn has been to two BCS bowls and has 2 basketball championships. Their football was certainly bad lately, but it was liable to get better, if simply by dumb luck. With UConn going independent, we now have someone else we can schedule in November.

The AAC is not a conference on the rise. And, the WCC is much better at the top in basketball.

I'd actually prefer to play Houston and Memphis than Baylor and Minnesota
