All of that is just my opinion... I'm more or less talking about out of my butt and venting....
But I do believe that Bronco's going to the Austin Statesman changed the message about Independence.
When we first jumped into Independence... it was sold as being a temporary endeavor to get us into position for a P5 conference invite. Then the BIGXII happened... those involved wet the bed... then the rumors out of the BIG EAST started that we are difficult to work with... then the dust kind of settled... until Bronco talked... and it's been damage control every since.
