BYU would struggle in the AAC IMO. Playing most of your conference away games on the East Coast would put BYU at a serious competitive disadvantage. Do we really want to see a 3rd or 4th place finish every year in the AAC?

Here’s the truth- it might be tougher to play at Cincinnati or East Carolina or Memphis than playing at Tennessee this year, but BYU would get little credit for winning a game in those places compared to winning at Tennessee (or losing).

Games against regional foes are h better for BYU. I want to see the series with Utah, Utah State and Boise State to continue. We would all be hoping for re-alignment with Western teams from the first day. Boise State, SDSU, AFA, CSU, Fresno State- plus full conference inclusion- not just football.

BYU fans would be completely unhappy with the AAC IMO.
