I own a lot in Red Ledges, and it is still my #1 choice
And I live in the valley.

I love the golf course. Yes difficult but you play here enough and there are birdies to be had. All the resorts have good restaurants.

As far as amenities, I’d rate Red Ledges #2 behind Promontory (the legacy membership at Promontory is unbeatable meaning all your kids and grandkids play golf for free forever). Red Ledges has a new pool and splash pad and grill/clubhouse, plus the regular pool and clubhouse with restaurant, has 30 holes of golf including the golf park which is great for beginners, kids, dogs, frisbee golfers, and dudes like me trying to improve short game (I’m a 6 handicap), covered tennis and pickle ball courts through the winter, kids club, outdoor basketball court with adjustable rims, equestrian center. The Deer Crest club skiing access is fantastic. We drive right to St Regis hotel, they take our skis down and valet park the truck, and we eat 3 mini-meals each day in addition to drinks and snacks at no charge other than our monthly dues. Then we put on robes and go to hot tub after skiing, or to fitness center. Spoiled. Dues at Red Ledges last I checked are about $850/month all in and no cart fees.

Promontory has more cool stuff (lakes, soccer fields, sledding hill with conveyor belt yes really, beach club which is amazing, bigger fitness club, 36 holes of golf, more restaurants, bowling alley, indoor basketball court, more kid friendly games, equestrian center). Not sure on dues, 2 years ago were $1,000/mo. But I’ve heard they’ve gone up.

Glenwild is a great course. The clubhouse is gorgeous as is the pool. But what other amenities does it have? Too expensive $2000+/month. Not a family friendly vibe.

Victory Ranch. I’m not as familiar with amenities but presumably equestrian center and fly fishing in addition to great golf course.
Not sure on dues $.

I love Red Ledges overall including the tough course.
