People I know get this one. My wife keeps asking why we don’t have it as nice as some. Well, keep having to remind ourselves that some we know bought a few years before ya (1/2 price of our smaller house), have parents that paid down payment, have parents that paid grad school (that’s costing us as well), oh, and when you buy a house for 1/2 the money, your paying much less property tax as well. All these “little things” add up pretty quick.
