My degree of sadness when my patients die.

<50 absolute tragedy. Just horrific imo
50-60. Tragic but got to see kids grown at least
60-70 Unfortunate - never got to enjoy retirement
70-80. Bummer, but after 70 anything can happen quickly it seems
80+. Just how it goes. Any good quality of life years is just a bonus. Minimize suffering.
