A newbie, didn't really know what I was doing. When We would "roll" or spare, when I was paired with woman who were probably 120-130, I'm 180, it was difficult to submit them, usually they submitted me. I realize I probably could have come over the top and punched them in the face but even then they know so many counter moves. In the class I saw guys half the size of bigger guys submit the bigger guy time and time again. Technique is so important. Saying "someone with a little grappling trainig" is basically saying a newbie.
