Started off 6-1 losing only to Stanford in the opener. Then lost 5 of their last six games, including losses to teams like Hawaii, UNLV, and Ohio-Miami.

Their QB is mediocre at best. OL is inconsistent.

Some of their wins last year were impressive - Boise State, for example. But their 7 wins also included squeaking past Eastern Michigan 23-20 and barely beating SJSU 16-13.

I think Phil Steele has them finishing around 80 in 2019, and he’s probably the best prognosticator around.

Also, in a recent interview I heard with the SD Union Tribune SDSU beat writer, he predicted BYU would win, with a score of something like 34-14. The beat writers usually know what the team is made of.
