Delusional fandom is not my idea of fun.
I enjoy sports played - and coached - at a high level.
That’s not at BYU, for a decade.
Have there been some good times since then? You bet.
This notion that “next year will be the year” or that BYU is different for some mythological reason and greatness will surely return...it’s pure delusion.
Occasionally BYU will have a decent team with some stud players. That will be the exception, not the rule.
The glory years are history. Wake up.
