I’m a little confused, all I know is the original comp agreement was pretty straight forward.
I was to receive X amount while “ramping up” for a determined period of time.

6 months into employment and the agreement added the part where it all had to be paid back should I leave prior to an arbitrary date.

Do corporations who do this genuinely believe the employee has a choice here? It’s pretty straight forward... you either sign it and agree to the updated terms or you walk. That’s a bad situation to be placed in.
