It's dumb, but 19-year-old kids are dumb.
I give kids a lot of leeway to say stupid things and learn from it. I'm eternally grateful there was no social media when I was in college.
It also looks like he meant it as a joke - I doubt he really intends to go storm the temple. I'm not going to take offense where none was intended.
