Guy plays for LDS coaches and has several LDS teammates. I am sure his intent isn't to draw any kind of wedge between him and them. If he understood how we feel about temples, he'd probably not have done it. This is a good chance for a coach or teammate to have a calm talk with him to help him understand what temples are and why his comments would be offensive.
