worked construction so summers were always pretty busy for him. The few vacations I remember going on were to Disneyland and some of my best memories because my Dad was a completely different person there. I like taking my kids there not for the toys, food, or souvenirs they can buy but because I enjoy making memories with my kids. We do go on other vacations as well and most of them are definitely cheaper than Disneyland (Yellowstone, lava hot springs, camping, etc.), but Disneyland for kids is pretty magical for kids so I enjoy taking them.
