Expand enrollment to 50K (change up the housing regulations, hire more professors) and have BYU be the religious version
of Michigan, Texas, Ohio State or UCLA. You can even decrease the subsidy the church provides per student or keep the scholarship amounts where they are at. If it hurts enrollment at BYUI, UVU, or Utah State or Utah a little so be it. This allows us to take more top level kids and more diversity kids. BYU will never be Harvard or Duke or Stanford.
What will happen is more kids get the BYU experience and the alumni network will grow. We also might see more students at games as we will be admitting more of the non tunnel singing folk. This also means more potential boosters down the road as well as school donors.

So change everything about the school so more kids can have a BYU experience that will no longer exist.
