If he didn't overvalue himself - then he would've signed one of the contracts he's been offered in the past and this wouldn't be an issue. He would've signed with Denver and would have proven his worth. Or he would've signed with someone else.

The fact that his supporters also overvalue him allows him to play the victim in the media for sure. But if he didn't overvalue himself, he wouldn't be a victim because he'd be on a roster somewhere.
