My dad used to have 4 season tickets to BYU
My sisters all married Ute fans. Every year four of us would go to the game, my dad and I in BYU colors, and two of my brother in laws in their Utah gear. We would go to games at BYU and Utah stadiums, and the same thing would happen every year. If BYU won, we would talk crap all the way home in the car, and if Utah won they would talk crap all the way home in the car. It’s some of my best memories with my brother in laws.

But my favorite memory, 1999, Utah just won a very close game in LES, and the cheerleader has just kicked the crap out of a fan who jumped out to tackle him. My brother in law who is normally very quiet and reserved kept going on about how funny it was Utah beat BYU both on the field and in the stands. I’m pissed at the loss but don’t mind taking some crap from people i like. My dad who also is normally a very mellow and easy going person was upset by the loss and in a hurry to get out of the parking lot to get home. We are all in the car and my brother in law is the last one getting in the back seat and before the door closes my dad starts to back out. My BIL with a nervous look on his face says “oh hey dad, I’m not in the car yet, but do you mind pulling forward a bit, you are on my foot”. I look back at him and his face is bright red with a pained expression, and I looked over and my dad has a smile on his face as he says something like “oh was that your foot?”

To this day there is an ongoing debate whether my dad intentionally ran over my brother in law in the BYU parking lot or if it was an accident. My dad will take it to his grave but I really think he intended to drive over his foot.
