is still running with a mixed group of BYU and Utah fans and somehow it made it even more glorious.

I was on the phone with a Ute fan during the whole bowl where they went up 35-0 (I believe) and he was having so much fun at my expense as I just kept saying after each painful score that it was just going to make the comeback even sweeter. Then we started to come back and really would have won that game (more than likely) if we only had a little more time.

Though we lost that one, the comeback and demonstration that beyond a complete crapping of the bed from early jitters we were likely the better team made all those games more fun to have Ute fans involved.

If the Ute fans are your friends and are civil it can make it even more fun if it’s a good game and especially when it goes our way...which it will this year.

I will be watching this year with a bunch of Ute fans. Thankfully they shouldn’t be too close since our seats are pretty good. 😉

Hopefully we send them home sad. They are all classless after all. 😉
