There is no private land in Greenland.
Per the article, the Danish government owns 100% of the land. Thus, they could sell it. People leasing or renting land there could choose to stay or go.

Kind of an interesting situation. No way would they sell it. Could never replicate Alaska again with modern concepts of land, mineral values and modern strategic value of the property.
