Like with many BBQ places it depends what you get
Some BBQ places only do one item well and others are a jack of all trades.
The best ribs I have ever had were at Bogart's in St Louis.
Imo the burnt ends and brisket at Jack stacks are average but they do very good pork ribs.
Jack stack is not elite BBQ but it is solid. As others have said Joe's and Q39 are generally better depending on what you get.
