Walk-on
Agreed- nuts that Christian Stewart rated below Mangum
Stewart's PER as a senior was 139 (25 TD's, 9 INT's, 7.5 yards per attempt). Mangum's was 115 (5 TD's, 4 INT's, 5.5 yards per attempt). Not even close.

The guys outside the obvious top 15 or so need some love to
Dynasty1
8/18/19 2:14pm
That’s what makes it fun. We’ve done the top 10 thing lots already

Putting Riley over Zach is ridiculous. Even at this point in their careers.

Zach has a small sample size but will surely pass him up this year. Riley did

8/18/19 2:11pm
Good Grief. Zach hasn't done anything yet

ZW is already twice the QB Nelson was

8/18/19 2:17pm
Beck should be ahead of Hall.
Captain Insano
8/18/19 2:18pm
This list isn't who the most talented is (otherwise Young would be #1) but who
Dynasty1
8/18/19 2:20pm
Beck was the better QB, without question.

His senior year. But I would argue Hall had a better four year career.

Max had a better career with a better team around him. Beck was the better QB. It’s easy to say, “Well Hall did great

If this, if that. Also, almost all of those guys you listed were underclassmen

Exactly. Take away all of the circumstance, who they happened to play with, and how others contributed to wins/losses.

If that’s your criteria, than Detmer should be ahead of McMahon.

Yup

I’d move Doman into the top 10. Problem is he only had 1 season to start

Eldon Fortie was the first BYU first team All American. How can he not be
Bullrider
8/18/19 2:39pm
I thought Fortie was a RB?

8/18/19 2:43pm
They called him a single wing qb. The snap from the center came to him.
Bullrider
8/18/19 2:47pm
He's kind of a tweener because his passing stats are basically non-existent

14 is ranked way too high.

8/18/19 2:48pm
No way, that's one that I'm pretty confident that I got right. Nobody below him
Dynasty1

I think its a perfect spot.

Christian Stewart is too low. I'd take him over anyone 15 and lower on that list.

Agreed- nuts that Christian Stewart rated below Mangum
nova_coug_fan
8/18/19 3:36pm
Mangum is the worst BYU QB in the history of the program as far as stats and W/L
Gerald-DeGroot
8/18/19 3:18pm
Mangum at least had wins vs Nebraska, Boise State, Arizona, and Wisconsin
BrutustheBrash
8/18/19 3:40pm
The defense and the running game carried him in those games.
SandYFan
8/18/19 3:42pm
But what memorable games did Heaps win?
BrutustheBrash
8/18/19 3:51pm
It’s a valid point.
Gerald-DeGroot
8/18/19 4:06pm
I'm not propping Heaps up.
SandYFan
8/18/19 7:36pm
Yup.
Gerald-DeGroot
8/18/19 4:05pm
True. I’d take Stewart over Mangum in a blink
JollyGreenGiant
8/18/19 4:02pm
Same.

Taysom would’ve cracked the top 5 without the terrible injury luck.

8/18/19 4:02pm
Go on......what would you have done different?
Dynasty1
8/18/19 4:58pm
Too low on the list: Sark, Hancock, Walsh, Hill, and ZW
Unibro
8/18/19 5:04pm
Who does Sark leapfrog?
BrutustheBrash
8/18/19 7:20pm
I’d have him ahead of Max and behind Beck
Unibro
8/18/19 11:48pm
heaps?
CougarLucas
8/18/19 6:19pm
Frankly, if we're including current QB's like ZW, I'd put Jaren Hall ahead of
