Who’s gonna schedule a G5 that much year in and year out?
Don’t you think the other “elite” G5’s want that too?
Go look at the very best G5 school’s schedules since we went independent and you will see that the very best is maybe a couple of P5’s but the vast majority is 1 or none. I’m talking about the BSU’s, etc., not the New Mexico States.
Do that and get back to me and let me know what you find.
The equation is very simple. We are being scheduled with P5’s at 4-6 per year because they can count us as their OOC P5 team AND the game will be nationally televised.
We go back to a G5 conference and most of this goes away.
I am utterly blown away that even one BYU fan would want this let alone a committed vocal minority.
