I don't blame the kid for making such a choice, but.
If he's a Junior and not getting any meaningful reps on either side of the ball, then he likely does not posess the talent to play she next level.
If he's good enough then the coaches would have found a place for him to get meaningful reps.
If he's a sophomore then it's better for him to get reps on jv so he can develop.
