legit. People just get it mixed up what they actually are. An emotional support animal doesn’t do anything special or isnt trained to do any services for someone. All they do is provide comfort to people with severe emotional issues. They are allowed to be in apartments that don’t normally allow pets or on planes. I only hate the phrase when people say they need an ESA when they don’t and it’s just an excuse to try and take their dog everywhere.
