My son wanted the tablet-y thing that you had to connect to a computer. After much research went with iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. Got the pro for my wife and pencil for my son 😀.

He has really liked the procreate program and the iPad is obviously much more versatile than a tablet that always has to be connected to a computer.
