What a crock. Shareholders are the owners
These CEO’s have no problem using debt to buyback shares to increase EPS which makes them richer. Do you guys realize that the only significant buyers in recent years have been companies (1.4 Trillion recently) funded with debt?
They put their buddies on the “independent” board and pay the a quarter million to raise their salaries and do whatever they want. These guys have no skin in the game.
Can you imagine if the manager of your rental cut out the owner’s priorities as his/her first things?
