I don't think I have enough information to make this call. First off, do we have a strong coverage team? Second, how strong is the opponent's return game?


If the opponent has a guy that has returned several kicks, keep it boring and out of the back of the end zone. If they don't and our coverage is good, there is such a different mindset for an offense that starts inside the 20 rather than at the 25. It's worth it to go for those 5+ yards.


If our coverage is bad, just kick it deep.
