First off, that article miscounted. Second, they counted several rides at Disney World that aren't going to be there for the next 2 years but didn't count future Disneyland rides. Here are the ride totals for each park from Disney's website:
Disneyland 33
DCA 18
Total 51

Magic Kingdom 24
Animal Kingdom 9
Epcot 8
Hollywood Studios 6
Total 47

You can be on a phone at Disneyland. It's called MaxPass.
