see the guys they've been recruiting and they are actually developing and playing well. It's not like I'm looking at a kid saying oh wow we've got a 6'1 speedster and that means we're better. No, you just literally look at what's happening. Why else would I need to use anything else as evidence?

I don't really know what to tell you about LB. Do you think they suck or something? There's no depth? Based on what? Like I said, it's one of the highest overall recruited units on the whole team. There's a TON of talent. Just because they're young doesn't mean there's a lack of talent. We're going to have 2nd and 3rd string LBs who had P5 offers. We're not lacking anything.

They had a weird year last year where there was a gap between losing guys and having a bunch of recruits out on missions. We saw the lack of depth appear when you combine that with in-season injuries and guys who should have been a part of that depth chart not be a part of the program anymore or didn't turn out.

LB isn't going away. Just because we're running a different system now doesn't mean it's not a strength. Definitely not with starters. The starters were a strength last year and they should be this year too. Except now we won't have a bunch of true freshmen as the backups.
LB is also one of our recruiting strengths this class. It will always stay strong.
