Sure, but every up and coming generation has to beat those things.
Look at how strong the competition was that Federer had to face with the group coming behind him. This has to be the first generation of players to never break through. I didn’t buy this argument even 3 years ago, but it’s getting ridiculous now. Federer has probably won 3 majors that should have been in a time that 1 would have been phenomenal, and Nadal and Djokovic have racked up around 5 each at ages later than past eras. It looks like they could go at this pace for 3 years or more. No major winners under the age of 30 is just too pathetic to completely ignore.
