it would be different. But, the point is: If your "D" has gotta go 3 and out regardless, it matters not where you are on the field (unless in FG range). Unfortunately, we have had several cases in the last 10 yrs where coaches have chosen the "we'll get it back" philosophy at times when our "D" clearly hasn't shown a pattern of being able to get off the field, and / or at field positions that defy the logic.
