The reality is relatively few powerhouse programs do make millions and millions of dollars from football, and a handful of men's college basketball teams earn a significant profit, but otherwise everyone else is just struggling to break even.

And the non-revenue generating sports are a huge black hole in most cases, sucking in money but then never giving any return. And yet we have people arguing that college athletes should be paid, despite the fact that 99.9% of them are an added *COST* to their school.
