Agreed that fans couldn’t ask for a better home game BUT
From an economics viewpoint, the solution would be to lower prices on tickets much earlier.

If I learned one thing from kearl’s economics 101, it’s that when demand is less than supply, lowering prices will increase demand. when admin saw how empty the stadium was going to be, it apparently lowered prices recently leading up to the game, but there’s a whole segment of fans that isn’t going to change plans last minute even with lower prices. Admin should have lowered prices before the season even started. If the stadium isn’t full and the team doesn’t have the noise that it wants due to less than full stadium, it’s on admin. They could have lowered prices earlier and helped the team out but instead miscalculated demand, apparently in the hope of lining the coffers.
