He had a decent QB in Taysom and great college RB in Williams, first year coordinator with that talent should have a great year. It wasn't great but you could say good at times. Best chance we had at beating Utah in some time.

Second year was horrible. He was also the QB coach and I didn't see much development in Mangum or Hoge. Maybe he had nothing to work with because Tanner was a bust with Grimes for the most part as well.

Cahoon was a terrible WRs coach. It's taken a full year for Fesi to develop these guys into decent WRs.

My problem with Detmers ouster wasn't the fact he needed to go. It's the way Kalani submarined him after games. Even when the offense played well he didn't say much at all. That's petty in my book. Blame Holmoe for making or suggesting Ty as OC, but Kalani gets a fail for his handling of it.

So if you wonder why some of us have an issue with Tys handling its the above. I'm sure if Ty were as petty as Kalani was after losses we would have heard there was a lot more to the story.
